Put some fire under your feet with MSD’s Kicker Ignition for your Go-Ped®! The Kicker Ignition system mounts conveniently under the ride board and is slim enough so it won’t scrape on corners or long jumps.
The Kicker Ignition consists of a control unit with a integral high output coil and requires a 7.2 volt NiCad battery. This system delivers a 21,000 voltage spark with 26 millijoules of energy that easily burns the fuel mixture creating more power!

The Kicker will improve the performance of even stock engines, but as you install more performance parts the need for a powerful spark increases! As the engine revs higher, the stock coil can’t charge fast enough to deliver a powerful spark, but the Kicker has no problem delivering its full power energy through high racing rpm. This full power spark will improve the throttle response, pulling power and prevent fuel load-up.
To improve your tuning abilities, the Kicker Ignition features a variable retard rate. You can compensate for changes in elevation, fuel quality and control engine temperature better with an MSD Kicker Ignition. The Kicker’s hot, accurate spark is the key to winning a race or just for a good-running machine! The Ignition can be installed on old and new style engines.
MSD's Kicker Ignition (PN 4160) works with both the old style (pre 1995) and new style Go-Ped® Zenoah engines. It is a combination CDI and coil that mounts conveniently under the rider board. Dimensions are 1.5"H x 2.25"W x 5.75"L and weighs only 15 ounces! The Kicker comes complete with mounting hardware, MSD spark plug wire, wiring, battery mounting and instructions. (The 7.2-volt R/C battery is not included.)
MSD Lightweight Billet Flywheels and Pull Start Hubs
We offer two types of flywheels for Go-Peds® - "Old" Style (PN 4161) and "New" Style (PN 4161). The "Old" style flywheel is used on pre 1995 Go-Ped® engines with the spark plug straight in the cylinder. The "New" style is for Go-Ped® engines made in 1995 and after with the sparkplug at an angle in the cylinder. The MSD billet flywheel is stronger and about half the weight of the stock flywheel! With our flywheel on, your engine will rev-up quicker - getting you up to top RPM's faster. If you want to use your pull start to start your engine, we offer a Pull Start Hub that bolts onto the MSD Billet Flywheel.
