Hi guys

I just bought a new MSD TL ignition for my Yamaha Superjet.

I arrived in several diffrent boxes, i got manual for the brain og ECU, but the trigger plate i dont got any install instrutions, so i dont know weather A or B mark on the plate is going one way or another, and the two pickups, got some kind of spacer plates with them, what are these for?

Thanks

Christian, Denmark

Hello Christian,

I've attached the instructions for the complete kit below. The spacers or shims that came with the pickups are to shim out the pickup closer to the magnet in the flywheel if need be. The clearance between the magnet and pickup should be between .050 and .094, if it is not within these specs then the shims will be needed. If you have any other questions please let me know.

Thanks, Bret-MSD Powersports

Hi Bret. THANKS alot for this wonderfull manual

Ive got another question, that reagrds placing or mounting the components, in the manual it says the ECU or brain should not be placed within 6" of the coils, i guess thats due to the High voltage the coils putt out?

Im thinking of putting it all together in a sealed (IP67) enclosure, and if the ECU and coil cannot reach at least 6" between, im wondering if it would be okai to putt a 10mm plexiglass wall betwen (isolation) ?

Thanks again
